Variety Children's Hospital

I used to paint quite a lot of murals. This one was for the Variety Children's Hospital in Clerkenwell. I spent about two weeks working on this and it was a life changing experience, meeting patients, their families, nurses, surgeons and all the other amazing people who work in a hospital. Absolute legends. This was in about 2011. I have no idea if my mural is still there.

While I was painting this I kept being asked, always by grown-ups, when I was going to start colouring in the characters and creatures. But all the kids got it and knew that I was never going to.
